Hey there! You’ve got a really cool, gritty anime style developing, and you did a solid job plotting out the major muscle groups. The sharp approach gives it a lot of edge! To help push the form and gesture a bit further, I did a quick paint-over focusing on a few key ideas: Dynamic Gesture: I added a slight curve to the torso and raised his arm to hold the towel. Breaking up that straight up-and-down posture makes the pose feel much more natural and active. Grouping Shadows: It's tempting to shade every single muscle crevice, but that can flatten the image. I grouped the shadows into larger, unified shapes to help the body read as a solid 3D form turning away from the light. Softer Transitions: I shifted the shadows to a cooler purple/gray and smoothed out how the muscles wrap around the ribcage. This gives the skin a more natural feel and adds atmosphere without losing your structural logic. You have a super strong base here with a ton of personality. Keep up the awesome work, and I hope the visual breakdown gives you some fun ideas to play with in your next piece!
the curve in the torso helps for sure, though for me stiffness usually comes from the weight. both legs are taking the same load here so it reads like standing at attention. maybe push one hip up and let the other knee bend a bit, the shoulders tilt on their own after that
