You are definetly on the right track. Very cool owl! I sketched a few animals from imagination. if you use shapes and forms it will help alot and learning the proportions of the animals skeleton will help alot too. Keep going look for basic shapes and forms dont get caught up in details you have the forms and the details draw themselves. :) hope this helps

How can I make a step forward on drawing animals? Lately I'm working on draw animals, in particular tigers, horses and owls. I feel confident to draw them from reference but I struggle a lot to think and imagine new poses. What do you suggest?

Something feels off; I'm quite spotty with the hands. But I'm also a bit iffy with the feet. The shadow creature behind her has a rather stiff pose in comparison to the front character as well. Your feedback will be appreciated! :)

Hi, I am struggling to figure out how to shade my character and his clothes especially with the color black that I used for the jacket. I haven't really decided on a light source, but ideally it's coming from the left side of him. Considering the materials as well I wanted it to be a cloth like material for the jacket and regular jeans. I would appreciate any help and input on this thanks.
