I like the idea of using blue in the shadows, but in this case it doesn't quite follow the lighting logic of the scene. Think about how the red background would also influence the colors of the car, especially in the shadows, where the red surfaces would bounce light back onto the vehicle. Because of that, those shadow areas would naturally pick up warmer, reddish tones rather than blue ones. That's why the blue shadows feel a bit inconsistent with the lighting setup. Whenever you're unsure about this kind of problem, try painting a simple sphere first. Rendering spheres, or any other basic form, within the same lighting environment is incredibly helpful, often even more so than jumping straight into a complex object. It lets you quickly understand how the lighting affects the local colors, and once you can solve it on simple forms, applying those same principles to more complex subjects becomes much easier.
