Hello there! What I'd recommend is learning to construct the head using the Loomis method first. This approach will help you develop a much better understanding of the head's structure, including its angles, proportions, and overall form. Notice how using a Loomis head as a foundation already gives you a solid base with better volume, making it much easier to place the facial features accurately.
