Hey! This is looking really good so far! The main thing I think you need is to define certain areas a bit more, especially the hair. As you know, it’s not necessary to paint every individual strand, but defining the overall shapes more clearly helps the viewer mentally complete the details. I also think adding a subtle blue rim light along the back would make the silhouette more interesting and help separate the character better from the background. Speaking of rim lights, adding a softer one from the lower area could also help create a stronger contrast and make the image feel more visually appealing (at least in my opinion haha). You could also adjust the skin tones a little, since they currently feel a bit pale. Adding some subtle orange tones would help bring back that natural skin warmth. On top of that, I’m not completely convinced by the reddish transition between the light and shadow areas. You could still use reddish tones there, but in a much subtler way, or simply soften the transition between light and shadow overall. I’m not sure how labour-intensive these kinds of corrections would be traditionally, since doing this digitally is obviously much easier haha. But hopefully this still helps in some way!
