Hello hello! They look cute! I like the line weight so keep up with that! Figures were heading in right direction, they just need more structure in the construction process. Start with a basic geometric-shaped mannequin. It will make it easier for you to comprehend how the volume of a human form interacts and overlaps with each component. Beside that, we use mannequin to keep proportions in check. Overall it's easier to manipulate composition when we start off with simple building blocks. For building faces, you can utilize two most common methods: Rilley or Loomis. When drawing two figures overlapping, what can help is having them in separated layers. Find references for each figure and combine different variations that may look interesting to pose. Regarding male figure: you can draw his face on the side in order to solve the difficult perspective view. Make sure you flip canvas regularly to fix any errors in perspective and construction.
