Hi Hi Very cool design of the character! In order to have rendering, we need to have a light source. Setting up light and dark in digital artwork involves choosing a particular light source, using layer blending modes (such Multiply and Overlay). When we are satisfied with line drawing and have our flats defined, we can start darkening our artwork. Make a new layer and choose Multiply as the blend mode over your base colors. Clip this layer to your base color layer so that the shadows remain inside the lines.Use a rougher brush to define the terminator, which is the line where light turns into shade. The rendering base is often established using this cell shading technique. You have to the form construction you created using linework in order to attain volume. Additionally, on the light side you can use different texture brushes to present a viewer's materials on character (metal, cloth, leather, hair etc.) Hope it helps! Have fun learning!
