Hey! Nice job here! :D Overall, I really like the art style! The simplified shapes are chef's kiss. I only made a few small adjustments. First, I separated the foreground, midground, and background a bit more. You can think of the characters as the foreground, the orange tree as the midground, and the distant tree as the background. Organizing the scene this way helps create a clearer visual hierarchy and better depth. I also simplified some of the details. For example, I reduced the number of leaves in the upper part of the tree since that area isn't a point of interest. It's enough to suggest the overall shape of the canopy. I did the same with the tree in the background. As a general rule, the farther an object is from the camera, the less detail it needs. Around the focal point, I felt there were a few too many plants in the foreground, so I removed some of them to help guide the viewer's eye toward the character in the water. I also added a flower to the character's head to create a bit more contrast in that area. I think these changes would have an even stronger impact if you introduced some lighting, but I really like the style you're going for, so I think these adjustments alone already help the piece read more clearly.
