Great work pushing the perspective soo far. Really likes how you suggested the character by using surrounding element cloth and posing ( Blind could tell its boa Hancock) Around your concerns of perspective and likeness of character, i would suggest two things. The interestingly boring, box and forms. The first thing I would suggest for nailing the perspective is to use a simple guidline, that is a box. So , you first ( after scrubling and getting the idea on paper ) you would develop a box of suitable dimensions , and after subdividing it into enough halfs, align the proportions of forms of the subject to the planes of the box . Remember, that the fundamentals are not training wheels, they are the things that will always be there with you, to support and help you in all your struggles. The next things i would suggest , that will help you nail the likeness part about characters is form , specifically form breakdown. When drawing any subject from any alternate angle, the most important thing is your understanding of the form you are drawing. What your draws is merely your interpretation of the subject. And the best way to get the deepest "3-d" understanding of your subject is form breakdown. So here's the 2 step guide to do effective form breakdown. First start with breaking down the subject into just boxes. And by boxes i mean whatever amount important for you .This stage is just for nailing proportions and dimensions ( Height vs breadth of subject ). Next 2, we use references (ideally, all orthographics at least ) and refine the form by applying form manipulating ( whatever you can use ) the boxes to whatever shape fits the best for our subject. The "Likeness" of your artwork, by this process will be determined by how good you can manipulate the form. That's sad , as we may not be able to get likeness as easily as copying references, but you needs this type of process to be able to draw the subject from any angles, or to be able to tell your own story by manipulating the form in different ways
