Hi Hi! Learning figures can be tricky for a start. With simple steps we can learn anatomy without feeling overwhelmed. Here are my recommendations: Start with a simple mannequin with a geometric shape. It will help you understand how each part interacts and overlaps with the volume of a human form. It will be very helpful to have a firm understanding of the fundamental structure of the human form later on in your artistic career. You will be able to sketch individuals in any position with ease. You can use the Loomis approach to learn it. He does an excellent job of illustrating how the human body twists and what is necessary to understand before posing the mannequin.Keep a close eye on the body's overlaps and key places when rotating the torso or pelvis. On one hand,I recommend drawing geometric shapes in perspective. They are essentials for building mannequins, easier to memorize and learn perspective. Knowing them solidly will help you in understanding organic forms and how to manipulate them. You can also help yourself with Artwod tutorials and workouts. Hope it helps!
