Hi Hi! Every beginning is challenging, particularly when it comes to drawing figures in dynamic stances. We must take small steps in order to create figures without any reference. To begin, we break down the human figure into simple geometric shapes. By approaching it this way, we ignore the levels of complexity that the human body has and only focus on the relationships of simple geometric bodies. We also try to make the figures relatively proportional in the process of creation. The second step would be to collect references of the desired positions. This allows us to play around with different possibilities of how to show the figure interacting with the swords. For easy learning, avoid overly complex camera positions, such as foreshortening parts of the body. Try to avoid details as much as possible and focus only on the relationships of simple geometric bodies until you gain enough confidence to add a new level of difficulty. Have fun learning and keep up! | Artwod Feedback
