Hey! Well... the proportions are definitely the main issue in this illustration. The head is much too large, while the body is too small, which makes the painting feel a bit off, unless that was the artist's intentional design choice. I tried adjusting the pose a bit. :) The proportions still might not be perfect, but I think it reads much better this way. Whenever you come across something like this, it can be a great exercise to ask yourself what feels wrong about the image, then try correcting it in your sketchbook.
