This is a drawing from February 2025, I'm not sure if it really "represents" me as an artist but I still haven't made anything better than it since.
I like half-body and portrait drawings more than full-body, but I'm never sure about the level of detail I should go for, or how to make the drawings interesting. It feels technically acceptable, but lifeless.
Lastly, according to the document info this took about 14 hours over a week or so, mostly because I have poor observation skills and need to constantly recheck proportions, and my rendering is messy and mostly trial-and-error.
Most of my attempts at character drawing either never stop looking "off" or they never survive the cleaning up stages, with poses and expressions disappearing the more I try to make things look right.
