Hello Hello! Great job! I dig the mood of expression! You also did a good job on anatomy and overall with shadows! A 3D Asaro head with an available light source setup will help you in any portrait sketching or shading to make them even more accurate. Given that you are using a traditional medium, this is a great tool for planning your work.Locate the desired head and light positions, then use a very light pencil to mark the head planes (H3, for example). Next, use a B6 pencil to draw the darkest areas of the face, such as the mouth, ears, corners of the eyes, and nostrils. While you can gradually develop the planes of your face by stacking shadows, don't match them with values you have in darkest spots. Remember huge > medium > little when you shadow map the face. Finally, remember to include highlight areas where the most intense light hits the face. I gave you the Asaro head as a useful reference for effective shading and building. Hope it helps!
