Hello Hello! The perspective of faces looks interesting! Since i dont know which references you used to capture the likeness, i will give you few guides on how to ink: We must first have a solid drawing foundation. Strong linework is not necessary, but make sure it is readable and simple to remove at a later time. Before you start using ink, make sure your face is well-constructed. It will be crucial in the future. You can use visible construction as a shading guide. Since artists are free to choose how they want to ink, there are no rules. It is common practice to follow the appropriate light source you place on the light painting, starting from one side and progressively moving to another. In order to achieve dynamic lineweight, you should experiment with different tip sizes (which also rely on how hard you put pressure on paper). Use finer marker tips for hatching and heavier ones for larger shadow blocks. Make sure to back off from drawing so you can clearly see graduation as you hatch densely to transition from dark to light. Drawing can soon get noisy, so be careful how much you hatch. It's all a matter of experimentation! Look up for comic artist, they mastered the hatching technique! | Artwod Feedback
