Hey there! Well... It’s clear you already have a solid foundation, and at this point it’s mostly a matter of practice so you can draw better ellipses, and also patience. I can tell you that even after all the years I’ve spent drawing, ellipses are still something that can trip me up sometimes haha. I’m not sure whether, when you draw ellipses, you’re using your whole arm or just your wrist, but to me it looks like you might be drawing mostly from the wrist. Drawing with your whole arm gives you more freedom to make larger strokes and, as a result, helps you give your ellipses a better shape. Another thing you can do is ghost the ellipse before actually drawing it. In other words, rehearse the motion in the air first so you create an imaginary guide. It’s a really useful exercise when drawing freehand. You can also draw a set of parallel lines and then try to make all the ellipses placed between them share the same tilt and roundness.
