Hi there, love what's going on here! I think I recognise a lot of my own struggles when I first started painting after also working mainly traditionally for a long time, the main thing I think would help you is to know that you can actually do less work! Try to simplify the whole body of the grass, instead of painting in every single blade of grass or hair strands . I think the perspective was indeed a little bit too steep for this scene still, and I added a bit more light on the cat, as it casts a high contrast cast shadow. In general, if you struggle with detailing the foreground, try to add elements that you would see on that scale: more clearly defined pebbles, maybe some leaves on the path, ... So basically more readable detail that would be simpplified in further areas/ Hope this quick paintover helps! c:
