How can I make a step forward on drawing animals? Lately I'm working on draw animals, in particular tigers, horses and owls. I feel confident to draw them from reference but I struggle a lot to think and imagine new poses. What do you suggest?

i've been stuck on this drawing for a few weeks now. i don't really know how to place the eyes (the head proportions might be off) and the coloring feels very flat. any tips would be appreciated!

Help I'm fallin (except I have wings)

This is my second piece of digital art ever, I think I messed up by lining where I wanted the wings first, then adding the silhouette of the eventually would be person. I'm struggling to connect the wings to the back in a way that doesn't look distorted, I similarly I feel like it looks too flat, like someone has just placed it all under a hydraulic press. I'm going to list it as anatomy, because I think the bigger success would be figuring out how to connect the pieces together, but I also think Perspective & Form is a problem as well.

I am interested in ways I could direct the viewers eye to the bow more and if there are any tips on improving the colour on this. I struggle most with colour and composition, tips in either would be great :)

i wish the focal point and story were clearer. the idea is: a woman is behind the curtains of this two story long distance bus (i live in argentina so this is kind of what they look like). her lover is waiting for her arrival. it is raining. he sees her sillouethe, but when the curtains are opened there is no one behind (she is a ghost, di*d in the trip, is trapped inside the bus).

i feel like im not getting the point i want to give.. like i want it to mean "when you miss the exit or the solution that is right behing you beacuse youre too concentrated looking at details instead of using your intuiton and looking up at the whole scene" idk

Hi! It’s my first post here, and this drawing is far from done but I’m having a lot of trouble with the shading- my reference was a smooth marble statue and I can’t get my shading to look good smooth. I’m more used to using hatching and cross hatching with my art, I’m new to realism but my goal is to make it as realistic as possible, so any kind of advice with the shading, contrast, proportions or anything in general is more than appreciated, thank you!
