This collaborative piece with Rei was very much in my comfort zone, playing with form and cel shading as I usually do. The idea was for Woddy to be the more amateurish or budget half of the duo so that was reinforced with the towel cape, cardboard twisted box and crumpled paper crown. I think my main gripe with the way I approach drawings is that it generally turns out pretty flat looking, I just do flat colors with a layer for shadow, ambient occlusion and light on top.
