Hi there, sorry for the delay! I believe you would benefit a lot from learning 3D form and head construction. Even if you want to work in a more cartoon style like Kim Jung Gi, he was able to do so because he had an amazing sens of form and perspective knowledge c: So I would try to familiarise yourself with drawing simpliefied loomis heads first, and then sketch those out before you ink a portrait on top of it. That way you give yourself a really solid structure to understand the angle, curve and proportions of the facial features! Hope it helps, keep it up! c:
