I feel like my brushes' thickness is settling bad habits for generalizing details or avoiding more subtle surfaces. Do my lines also appear unconfident? I work on portraits all in one layer, and sometimes erase with airbrush or the thick opacity brush which results in the edges and surfaces looking chicken scratchy.
