Hi there, sorry for the delay! I think style-wise you stay pretty consistent within the character, you just need to apply the same highlight/rim light technique you were doing in the figure (white polka dots vs blue sharp shape on the black material) on the sweater & cat (and then change the colour of the rim/back light depending on the material. As for the cat specifically, I think having them stand on his arm while he appears to be mid-swing is what makes it look a litle unstable, so I would include them to be more aof a part in the scene by letting it hold on really tight, or even let them swing from the rope themselves :D I hope it was clear enough and this helps you out a bit!
