Hello! This is my 1st day of Inktober! And I’m really happy that I finally decided to join this year. I wanted to do this because I really want to explore more, expand my knowledge about drawing, and learn different techniques along the way. It’s been such a long time since I really enjoyed drawing like this again. Sobrang tagal ko rin na-stuck sa art block, to the point na parang nawawala na yung excitement ko to create. So honestly, I’m just really glad that I’m slowly getting back into drawing again. It feels nice to be in this era again where I can just sit down, draw, experiment, and enjoy the process without putting too much pressure on myself. And I’m also really thankful to God for giving me the patience, knowledge, and strength to keep learning and creating again. I know I still have so much to learn, but I’m just grateful that I’m given another chance to enjoy this passion again. For today’s artwork, I used a sign pen and acrylic markers. The first prompt is “Apple,” and the first thing that came into my mind was Snow White. But lately, I’ve been watching a lot of anime, so I thought, why not combine the two and add a little fighting scene? HAHAHA. And that’s how I came up with: Snow White: The Apple Monster Slayer! 🍎 For now, I’m planning to combine every Inktober prompt with Disney princesses. Hopefully matuloy ko hanggang dulo HAHAHA. Day 1 done! And I’m honestly excited to see where this little journey takes me. Here’s to creating again, learning again, and slowly finding my way back to art. ❤️
