I struggle a lot with how to shade my art. I am still a beginner and havent touched the subject a lot. Most of the time, I just want to finish my art and do the lights and shadows how I think they would be. However, in my opinion, this leads to my pictures ending up very dark, so that the viewer has problemes getting the scene from a distance. I am also not sure about my brushwork, and the overall composition. I wanted this to be an artwork for a potential tcg card for a hobby project, but I am not sure, if this look to hectic in a way? not sure how to explain it.
