What can I improve?

Drawing an anime wink eye but it's not easy as I thought

I'm trying to sketch an anime girl with one wink eye posing for a photo op but it's like she's just closing one of her eyes and then the other eye looks dead. She's not cute enough and I think my facial anatomy is wrong somehow. Using Clip Studio, could anyone make suggestion on how I can make this better? Thanks!
