What can I improve?

meeting a dragon

I improved its form a bit and changed the wing, I'm not sure it's better. It seems more proper but I prefer the silhouette from ver 1. I'm not sure if the spikes and the head are ok I want to indicate form with texture of its skin but I struggle with finding a way to do it: there are so many textures to choose from, and they can be placed in so many different places, idk where to start
