Hey there! Good work so far! :) I think the key here is to focus on the structure of the underside of the nose. Try not to worry too much about the nostrils for now, and instead concentrate on drawing the base of the nose as a simple shape, just like in the example. At its core, it's almost like drawing a box, just with softer, more organic forms. :) Once you have that foundation, it's much easier to add details, simplify the shape, or even manipulate the nose while keeping it believable.
