The issue is that their lines aren't converging toward the vanishing points. Remember that the lines should converge toward the side or central vanishing points, and in this case, if the boxes are above the horizon line, they should also converge toward the upper vanishing point, and vice versa. I'd recommend taking it step by step. First, focus on mastering one-point perspective, not just with boxes, but with a variety of shapes and forms.
