Hey there! From my POV, and from what is taught quite extensively at ArtWod, the solution is to start with a more simplified drawing using basic forms such as boxes and cylinders. Working with simple forms helps you focus on two essential things: proportions and perspective. Once you establish a solid foundation, it becomes much easier to build upon it by adding more complex forms and details, such as muscles, clothing, and other elements. At the end of the day, the key to improving a drawing is always having a strong underlying structure. So, I'd recommend studying the human figure with this approach in mind, regardless of whether your goal is to draw manga or realism.
