Hey there! Good work so far! I really like the idea, but the composition itself isn't fully working yet. I'm not entirely sure what type of game you have in mind. Is it something more like a side-scrolling or 2D game in the vein of Metroid or Castlevania, or is it an RPG with a fully controllable 3D camera? That's something you'll want to define and provide a bit more information about, as it would help give better context for the scene you're trying to create. Assuming it's a game with a 3D camera, I think it could work better if there were a clearer corridor leading toward the final boss area, giving the player enough space to move around. That said, this could also simply be a keyframe intended to sell the overall mood of the scene. Adding some fog between the columns would help reinforce the sense of depth between each plane. :)) The color palette works well, but I think you could distribute the red accents a bit more instead of keeping them only on the foreground pillars. Perhaps the red could come from candlelight at the base of the columns or another light source. You could even add banners hanging from the columns in that color (I didn't include them in my paintover, but it's something that came to mind while looking at the piece). This would give you roughly an 80/20 split: about 80% cyan and bluish tones to support the ghostly atmosphere, and 20% red for accents and contrast. Hope this helps! :) | Artwod Feedback
