Hello there! This is a solid start! Before worrying too much about textures or smaller details like the stairs, I'd recommend making sure you have a strong drawing base. The two most important things to resolve first are the perspective of the scene and the forms. If those aren't established early on, the refinement process becomes much slower because you'll end up correcting them over and over again. With that in mind, the perspective is a bit confusing. The pillars and the archway in the foreground feel almost flat, as if they're following a frontal perspective with the vanishing point in the center, while the elements in the midground and background suggest a vanishing point off to one side. That inconsistency is what makes the scene feel off. I'd highly recommend using perspective grids to keep everything aligned. You can see in my example that once the structures follow the same perspective, the scene immediately feels more convincing, especially the placement of the pillars. Getting the perspective right is especially important when drawing interiors. Another thing you could do is play with the scale of the elements. Right now, the character feels a bit too big, which makes the environment seem smaller than it probably should. By making the character smaller, you immediately create a stronger sense of scale and make the environment feel much more grand. :) Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
