Hi there, Great work and start on the illustration. I think you could think about a mood or feeling that you want to communicate in your illustration. For example, an ominous dark feeling could translate into an evil wizard living there and then think about what they would want, say to gain more power. One way would be to show them channeling elemental power like a big storm and lighting over the tower. Another direction could be a dragon either nesting or protecting or the opposite attacking the tower for its gold. Stories and depth come from having fun in curiously investigating parts of the scene or world that you are creating and always ask why? Why is the tower there, what is it's purpose? Who stays there? Why are they there? When you start fleshing out some of those questions it should hopefully lead you down some rabbit holes and help injecting story and depth into the illustration. Last question is a composition one, why have you chosen to an upshot camera angle and avoided the bottom of the tower? Nothing wrong with it but it may also help with your story, like is the wizard standing at the top or looking out one of the windows. I hope this helps and all the best! | Artwod Feedback
