Howdy! Honestly, I don't believe your artwork lacks details. It already looks pretty solid in the department of inking and rendering. Hovewer, you could use some anatomy knowledge to inform your construction of the body somewhere down the road in your artistic journey. As you can see on my paintover, the main problem here is the shoulders' discrepancy. The left one (from our POV, I mean) is placed correctly but the right one is too low so that makes her neck very long and her collarbones look unnaturally broken. You see, you can always use the sternocleidomastoid muscle (it's a mouthful, I know, but just google it, you know how it looks already!) to check if the neck, the collarbones and the shoulders joints are all connected properly. Also this muscle helps you see the orientation of the body in space (full front, rotated, etc.). That's a really cool muscle to know and see properly on a figure! So, I used you own indication of the left clavicle and your left shoulder and fixed the position of the right ones. To understand where it should be, I drew the SCM muscle because the clavicle always connects SCM and the ball joint of the shoulder. And don't forget to draw the ribcage at the construction phase too, it will help you see the midline, the rotation of the upper torso and the proportions for the midsection and the pelvis. And last but not the least, IF you still want to add details, it's really easy. Every detail is a teeny tiny OBJECT so it has the same behavior as any bigger object like the head, for example. It has texture, weight, it has value, it catches light and highlight, it cast shadow. So here you really have to judge the lighting scenario (if we are talking about inking) and just indicate the detail. For ecample, if you wanna add detail or texture on her skin or her tank top, you will use ink and hatching. If you want your details on your darker parts, you will indicate a highlight of, let's say, something metallic or leathery or some more fur. Hope it clarifies it a little bit and again, good job on your inking skills! Cheers C: | Artwod Feedback
